we found precision door service thru home advisers.com. george was the technician who came to us. he was friendly and more importantly knew everything about our old opener system, how to maintain the doors and the fact that our old system was not strong enough to lift our insulated double door. we took his advice and upgraded to a more powerful system so that we may avoid problems in the future.

Definitely a five-star rating. First of all, when I called this morning to schedule an appointment the receptionist said that she could send someone out today!! Incredible! Second, the appointment was scheduled from four to six P.M. Imagine my surprise when Ross, the technician, called and said he was in the area and he could come over earlier than scheduled. Another plus for the company!! When he arrived ten minutes later, he was extremely courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained what needed to be done, how long it would take, what the time frame would be, and gave us a fair estimate on the cost of the total job. Third, it also helped that I had a coupon from Valpak that made the estimate even lower. When I explained that we were having an open house this coming Sunday to sell our home, he said he would see what he could do to have the job finished before then. What a great experience with a great technician and an even better company. I am totally impressed. I am sure that the door will look incredible when the job is finished.

I chose Precision because prior to moving to Florida the Virginia location worked on my opener there and did a great job. Here Van was the tech and also did a great job. He installed a Precision opener, new rollers, springs, pulleys etc. What was a noisy chain drive opener is now whisper quiet! I am very satisfied.

Today, May18, 2015, Chris came and evaluated the damage to the opener we had. It is 20 years old and when it broke in a couple of places we decided to get a new one. I called this morning and was told that I would have a person out between 1pm and 4pm. Chris rolled up and started. I was very pleased to see that he did everything so easily, from opening the boxes, to getting everything mounted and working. He even set my opener that is on my mirror to the right code. He worked clean and neat. Got rid of all wastes and left us very happy people. Had a great sense of humor too, I might add. If I hear anyone that has a problem I will surely tell them to call you. Just had our garage door repaired by Chris W, Chris is an excellent representative of this company. He was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. He alerted us to some problems we didn't see and advised us as to what needed to be done to correct them. We were offered 3 options which he explained thoroughly and he let make the choice we were comfortable with. The cable on my door busted on a Sunday afternoon so I called the 24 hour number and someone was out here early on Monday. The technician Chris was great. He explained all the parts and offered me options from just fixing the issue up to replacing other parts to ensure everything was running great. There was no pressure and I felt I could choose any package without feeling bad. I elected to go with the best package as the additional warranty really is a great comfort. I felt like Chris had my best intentions in mind and offered me tips on how to keep everything well maintained. I will certainly use Precision again.

The task of finding a garage door company was a bit overwhelming at first. I came here and read many reviews that helped in my decision. Precision went above and beyond what I believe the other companies would have to make my new garage door fit the space perfectly. Having an older 1927 beachside house made for a few challenges that Ross and Van overcame. There was not much head room to get this door installed and they came up with some very creative and necessary modifications to make this project a success. Ross was great with keeping me up to date during process of getting my door in, scheduling, the special historic district home permitting and getting the job done right the first time. I have confidence Precision will stand by their work for years to come and I highly recommend anyone to trust them for their needs as well.
