Van did an excellent job. This my first home.... thus my first automatic door. I have been suspicious of any contractor not knowing what to look for. Home ownership is all new to me. Van explained everything. He explained the why, what and how. That made it a little easier for me to think I would get what I was paying for. The door works fine. Called for service early afternoon and tech was here by 2pm! Quickly discussed options related to 1988 door opener issues. He installed new unit, and went through all the features, cleaned up and was out by 4pm. Tech was very friendly, did high quality of work and was knowledgeable about the various products offered by Precision Overhead Garage Door Service. Also answered various questions regarding the difference between wind rated garage doors and the existing door. He also advised that we should consider changing out the springs as the current ones we barely pulling the door up; as noticed when I had released the door in order to get my wife's car out of the garage. Overall very pleased.

Chris came to our home, diagnosed the problem immediately, explained what he was going to do to fix it, and proceed to do just that. He than did a safety inspection, and discussed that process with me. I asked for a rough estimate for some additional work, and he was glad to provide that information. Definitely a five-star rating. First of all, when I called this morning to schedule an appointment the receptionist said that she could send someone out today!! Incredible! Second, the appointment was scheduled from four to six P.M. Imagine my surprise when Ross, the technician, called and said he was in the area and he could come over earlier than scheduled. Another plus for the company!! When he arrived ten minutes later, he was extremely courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained what needed to be done, how long it would take, what the time frame would be, and gave us a fair estimate on the cost of the total job. Third, it also helped that I had a coupon from Valpak that made the estimate even lower. When I explained that we were having an open house this coming Sunday to sell our home, he said he would see what he could do to have the job finished before then. What a great experience with a great technician and an even better company. I am totally impressed. I am sure that the door will look incredible when the job is finished.
