I couldn’t get my garage door open because both springs snapped and Precision Garage Door was able to get someone out to me next day (it could have been same day but I was unavailable). Technician Felix Rosario came out and fixed my garage door in no time! Felix was very friendly, worked with my budget and even loved on my overly affectionate large dog haha! This is my second time using this company and I will continue to use them for all of my future garage door needs.

I needed a new remote. I have a Lanier opener installed by Precision garage door opener services. I bought a new remote, but the store didn’t have Lanier, so I bought a Chamberlain universal remote. The box said it would work with Lanier. I could not get it to work properly, but at one point it did close the door. So I called Precision and asked for help over the phone. They wouldn’t do that. So they sent a tech to the house. He was nice but he said that this remote wouldn’t work, because he tried it at another place. He never tried. Then he called a coworker, phone on speaker, and he said the same thing. It sounded like a rehearsed routine. I ended up buying a Lanier remote from him and the price was listed at $181. He gave me a 10% coupon, so I paid $161 for the remote. After he left, I looked up the price for the exact, and every where was $22-37. That is a huge price difference.

The spring snapped on our garage door Friday morning. We called for help, and our technician was there within the hour. He did a full inspection and made recommendations based on the condition of the door and the hardware. More than the one spring really needed replacement based on visible evidence and future safety. We spent more than expected, but It was not an upsale. We were very pleased with the outcome and a door that is not a time bomb for future repairs. All work was warranted also. I recommend them highly.

It was easy to schedule the repair on the website and David showed up well within the repair window. David was courteous and professional and explained options for the repair. In roughly 2 hours, the spring was replaced and our garage door was working again. Afterwards, David discussed maintenance for the door. It was a very smooth repair experience.

We called Precision Doors because the door was so noisy that my wife joked that the neighbors could hear it. A few days earlier, the door wouldn't fully open and we couldn't get the SUV out of the garage! And I was very impressed with the service. When I called, the lady asked if I wanted a tech to come out later in the day! I had meetings in the afternoon, so I made an appointment for 10am to 2pm the next day. Then the next day, the tech called to ask if it was okay to come early. I work from home, so, yes, that would be great. Roland showed up around 9:30 and he then spent a few minutes looking over everything. He then explained what was wrong, would should be replaced, and what could be repaired. He said the door opener was repairable, but since it was 20 years old, it would be better to replace it. He then put together a price list and I verified what was needed. In the end, we wound up replacing almost all of the moving parts, including the torsion spring, the door opener, the wheels, and more. He then spent a few hours doing all the work... by himself! I think it's excellent service that the tech has the ability and the parts to do the work right now instead of scheduling another appointment. Hopefully we won't have any more issues for a long time, but I'll definitely call them again for help.
