The installers were running behind schedule, they were courteous and called to let me know and give a new eta. Upon arrival they got right to work and got the door installed and did a great clean up when done. He reviewed the remotes and door operation. What a difference with this new door, smooth and so quiet, I cannot believe how great this is, wish I did this sooner! Used this company to replace a door on my old place and was not disappointed.

Next day service was available. Repairs completed in less than 3 hours. Technician was superbly knowledgeable and proficient. Repair work was assessed and that assessment was reviewed with me. An overall inspection was done and reviewed with me. Just very thorough and complete process. However, 2 things really standout with Precision. They outline what their inspection shows but they don't use pressure sales tactics to goad you into more services. AND, the repair work is quick and very good quality. I have no issues calling them up and trusting them.

I ended up not using Precision based on my experience with their preliminary quote process. The service person quoted me 3 prices to replace the torsion springs, good, better, and best. $2900, $2600, and $1700. I have had many springs replaced in my lifetime and was shocked at this price. When I told the service person I wanted to get a second opinion he said he could call his boss to see if they could lower the price. RED FLAG #1 He called back and lowered the price to $800 RED FLAG #2 I thanked him and said I'd still like a second opinion and he said the $800 was only good that day. RED FLAG #3 I really do not trust companies that start with the high quote and if you question it they quote lower. I feel taken advantage of and quickly move on. The second opinion? The repair cost was $500 and was quoted on the phone before the repair was made by Jon McGrew Garage Doors. I recommend you call Jon.

I love this place. I had a guy named SOPHEAK who did the work for me. He spent so much time explaining everything and gave me a really fair price. I really liked that he gave me different options from replacing things to repairing the whole thing. I had different choices to pick from. I never felt pushed to just get a whole new garage door. I knew I could’ve gone that route, but he was able to do some fixing without me having to buy a whole new garage door. I also am getting good warranties with the repairs he did. He explained the warrantees and just overall was such a nice guy. ( and very patient) I had a lot of phone meetings when he came and he respected my wish to just do texting for a period of time. He definitely went over and beyond. We had a bad experience with another place and because of that we went and took the risk to use someone else. I am so happy with the experience, I will be writing about this company on my next-door app that shares everything with the community.
