Bernard was very prompt, pleasant and professional. My garage door opener and related parts needed to be replaced, and the garage is unusually shaped, requiring a shorter than normal rail. He handled the special requirements well, and I am very pleased with the end result.

I was very pleased with the service of the technicians (Matt and Will) that installed the garage door. Though there were a few issues and it took a bit longer than expected, their attitudes were great. When they were finished, they made sure I understood how everything operated and also set up the permit inspection. Unfortunately, I can't say the same of the sales staff. When the first sales rep came to my house, she was not prepared. She did not have the information needed for what should have been a standard garage door, she appeared frazzled and then on top of that, I had to sign what seemed a lot of pages on her tablet just to confirm that in fact DID NOT purchase a door. Four or five days went by with no call or email. I finally called her. She promised estimate by end of day. I got it the next morning and it was just way out in left field. I asked her to get me another quote on something a little less expensive and I never heard from her again. My phone rings a week or so later, and it is Chris telling me that they are going to be installing my garage door the next day. I tell Chris I never bought a door from Precision. He then apologizes and says that he was supposed to call Hardy instead of Handy. Much to his credit, after I told him how disappointed I was in the original associate that I didn't even buy a door from them, he actually took the time to find exactly the door I needed (in less than 3 min) and had me on the schedule for installation before the call was over. So, you owe Chris a bonus as without that mistaken call to me and his great attitude and making sure I was happy, I would have never called you back to buy the door. He was patient with me while I tried to make up my mind of the extent I wanted to fix door opener. Prices seemed high, so I opted to go for the cheapest fix. He put in new sensor for the door. Hope this fix last for yrs to come, can't afford a new opener. Will have to shop around if I do though.

Jimmy was great. He gave me a call promptly when I was scheduled for installation. What is great about this company is that they installed a garage door opener that I bought. Most companies try to push their own garage door opener and didn't even quote for me. The price they quote will be similar to big box stores. However, the difference is that these guys are pros. The job was done to my satisfaction and they even programmed the remotes for me. The only reason that I can't give a "5" is that Jimmy accidentally broke the light bulb on the ceiling of my garage when installing. I kind of wish I had something off the price to help offset getting a new CFL bulb. However, I would not hesitate to recommend Precision Door Service to others in the future.

We chose Precision because we needed a serviceperson that offered same-day service. The garage door came off the pulley and springs also needed adjustment. Compared to the price upon our initial phone call explaining the problem, and price after service completed, with no new parts required, the price was more than double.
