I previously used Precision Door Service for a new garage door opener install in 2013. I’m glad to know they still had all my records when they done the installation and didn’t have to re-provide the information. With so many companies switching systems, this eased one level of frustration. I ended up needing a new spring and tune up. The 1st technician clearly provided what was needed. And a 2nd technician showed up to perform the installation. Price ended up meeting the quoted price and I was back up and running. As a bonus, the garage door opening/closing process was quieter. Additional positives is they provide before and after photos. Also, all information with the photos, warranty, and receipt were sent to me. Only thing I would ask for in the future is for Precision to consider adding in Apple Pay/cardless payments. They appear to be well adapted for the technology age and this would have been perfect. However, since this main goal is to get a repair, this is just a minor ask.

Found Precision Door on the internet and they were the first I called on my list of two or three others. It was the day after Christmas so I figured I would leave a message to set up appointment. I knew I had found the right company when a real person answered the phone. The appointment was set up, all questions were answered and the estimate for the work was well within the price range I expected. The technicians Ian and Tyler showed up exactly on time and went to work. I watched the entire process and was very impressed with the way each tech approached the job at hand. They answered all questions and the one he could not answer he was on the phone and got the answer immediately. After clean-up Ian asked if everything was alright and went through all the operational features of the new system. Had 40year old fiberglass garage doors ( 1 single, 1 double) that were well beyond their life span. Called around for repair service and Precision not only had a live person answer the phone but had someone out that afternoon. Ended up replacing both doors. I chose Precision from the professional ad in the phone book yellow pages. The response was quick with the appraiser coming first. Of course the original cost quoted to replace a spring was out the door. The appraiser told me even though I had one spring since purchasing the door that I would now need two springs (new building code). He also pointed out a couple weaknesses in the door hinges and a need to replace some rollers. After he presented me with the cost of repairs I agreed since I felt it was still fair cost wise. The actual installer, Brittany, was great. She was pleasant and got right to work. She knows her job and completed the repairs quickly. She is an asset to the company. The garage door works so much quieter and the extra spring hopefully will take pressure off the springs. All in all I would recommend this company to friends and family.
